Station 12 - Newburg Fire District
The Newburg Volunteer Fire Department - Logan Township Station 12, provides fire and rescue services to the residents and visitors of West Central Logan Township, including IvySide Estates, Red Hill, Mill Run and Newburg. From their station located at Washington & 28th Avenues, the firefighters and medical responders operate and maintain an Attack Pumper/Rescue, and a Water Tender, all of which respond throughout Logan Township as needed. These highly trained and certified volunteers answer many accident calls along the sometimes dangerous SR 36 to the Cambria County line.
Engine 1211 is a specialized attack engine, which is designed to double as one of the township's rescue response vehicles. E1211, carry's hydraulic rescue tools and a rescue air bag system as part of it's critical equipment. Newburg firefighters provide assistance to AMED when appropriate. Volunteers respond day and night to help assure the safety of Logan Township residents, and to those who visit our community.
