Burning Rules Revised

In order to comply with DEP requirements, Logan Township had to revise our burning ordinance.  Items such as paper, newspaper, cardboard, and yard waste are considered to be recyclable and are not permitted to be burned.  Garbage has never been permitted to be burned.  As a result, the only burning permitted is recreational fires.  To report illegal burning, please call the 911 non-emergency number at 814-940-5952.
