ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE MANAGER/ACCOUNTING CLERK
Logan Township is hiring an Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk for its Administration Department because of an upcoming retirement. This is a rare opportunity for an organized, analytical person with attention to detail, ability to solve problems and the ability to provide excellent customer service to our residents, Board members and employees!
The successful candidate should have 5-8 years of experience performing clerical, accounting and administrative tasks. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred. This job entails processing payroll and accounts payable, reconciling accounts, maintaining filing systems, proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, problem solving and being exceptionally organized and accurate. The ability to work with elected officials, municipal employees, and residents is a necessity.
The successful candidate must pass a physical, including drug screen and background check. Salary is dependent on qualifications and includes the Township's excellent pay, generous benefit package and a pleasant work environment. You must be a resident of Blair County and possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
