Sewer Department

The sanitary sewage system in Logan Township consists of seventy miles of sewers within three sewer districts, three pump stations and a wastewater treatment plant. Township sewer department employees operate and maintain the system and are responsible for the preparation and collection of the monthly sewer service bills for approximately 3,500 accounts. The Board of Supervisors and the Manager are responsible for the development of long and short term system planning, establishing sewer service charges and providing general oversight of all matters relating to the system.

 

A sewer payment drop box is installed at the Logan Township Municipal Bulding for your convenience, if your hours conflict with ours. Please - checks or money orders only.

New! - Save a stamp and avoid late charges!  Logan Township now offers Electronic Funds Transfer for an easy and convenient way to pay your sewer bill.  All you have to do is fill out an application.  Applications are available to be picked up at the Logan Township Municipal Office located at 100 Chief Logan Circle, Altoona, PA16602 or they can be printed by clicking on the EFT Application link below.
