Logan Township property taxes are collected by the elected tax collector.

If you have not received your tax bill, please contact us via phone or email to request a duplicate bill.

Tax Collector:  Christina Blake (Term Expires December 2025)

Location:  100 Chief Logan Circle, Altoona

Payment Methods:  Personal or Cashier's Checks, Money Orders and Cash are all accepted.  All checks should be made payable to the Logan Township Tax Collector.  A fee of $25.00 is assessed for any returned check or money order.

Receipts:  In order to receive a receipt when mailing a payment to the office, please Include a self addressed stamped envelope, or provide a valid e-mail address legibly written with your tax bill payment.

After Hours Payment:  Please use the secure drop box just outside the main entrance to the Logan Township Municipal Building.

Tax Periods:

County / Logan Township Real Estate Tax Bills are issued annually on March 1st.
AASD Real Estate Tax Bills are issued annually on July 1st.

Discount - If you pay your bill within 60 days, you will receive a 2% rebate.
Face - If you pay your bill within 60-120 days, you will pay the actual amount due.
Penalty- If you pay your bill after 120 days, you will pay a penalty of 10%.

The Blair County Tax Collection Bureau collects the 1% wage tax.  The Altoona Area School District collects the local services tax, mercantile tax, business privilege tax, amusement tax and the flat rate occupation tax.   The Altoona Area School District also issues Business Licenses.
